(FCE Use of English Part 4) Some of the lines in this exercise are correct; others have a word which should not be there. Which lines are correct? Which are wrong, and what is the unnecessary word. 01. A lady golfer has taken out three gentlemen golfers 02. to court. The three men from Richmond, London, who had taken the job 03. of choosing a golf professional for a golf course, said that they had not been shown 04. any sex discrimination. Miss Sally Richards, a successful golfer, 05. has won important tournaments. She has written The Complete Woman Golfer. She said 06. she was kept out off the final list for the job although she was better qualified 07. than anyone else. She has taken them to the court under the Sex Discrimination Act. 08. She says that questions she was asked at an interview discriminated against her 09. because of she was a woman.
